Meet the Team Behind Tune Town

Where little voices, big imaginations, and joyful rhythms fill the room.

Guided by Warmth & Expertise

Every song, smile, and moment of discovery at Tune Town Child Care is guided by a team of dedicated educators who bring warmth, expertise, and joy to each day.

Our staff are more than early childhood professionals. They are mentors, nurturers, storytellers, musicians at heart, and steady guides as children explore themselves and the world around them. Each educator creates an inclusive, imaginative space where children feel valued, encouraged, and free to express themselves.

Meet the People Who Make Tune Town Shine

Lisa Brisebois

Owner/ECE, Director of Operations

Lisa Brisebois is the driving force behind Tune Town, rooted in a lifelong dedication to childcare that began with neighborhood babysitting and evolved through her time as a stay-at-home mother caring for local children. Her professional path has been diverse, including roles in established daycare centers, experience in the Emergency Department at VGH, and a venture into the culinary world as a restaurant owner alongside her husband. Ultimately, her passion for early childhood development led her back to her true calling. As the heart of the center, Lisa focuses on creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel safe to learn, explore, and grow.

Guy Brisebois

Owner/Licensee, Office Manager

Guy Brisebois provides the operational structure and leadership for Tune Town, drawing on a distinguished 35-year career in the Canadian Armed Forces. Having retired as a Chief Petty Officer First Class and previously served as the Fire Chief of the Highlands, he brings a high level of discipline and organizational expertise to the team. In his current full-time roles as Licensee, Office Manager, and HR Lead, Guy manages the center’s administrative backbone. He is dedicated to ensuring the facility operates with professional efficiency and maintains the highest standards of safety and support for staff, children, and their families.

Candice White

Centre Manager

Hi! My name is Candice White, and I am a Manager, Early Childhood Educator, and IT support here at the centre. I’m not only an educator but also a mom to an almost-adult son. Originally from Washington State, I always knew I wanted to work with children in some way. I moved to Canada over 22 years ago and quickly discovered my passion for the childcare field. As a creative person, I love making things and creating hands-on learning experiences—and the things children say and do constantly surprise me and make me laugh every single day. Seeing their excitement as they explore, learn, and grow is truly the best part of my job.

Kianii

Kaylee

H! I am Kaylee! I have been working at Tune Town since June; I have been volunteering here since February of 2025. I am currently in a Responsible Adult position and taking my ECE courses part-time when I am not working. I love working at Tune Town because I get to experience the ups and downs of the kids' days while helping shape their young minds through learning things, being taught new things by them, and learning new perspectives. I have known I wanted to be in the childcare field since I was in middle school. I love doing art and crafts in my spare time. A fun fact about me is that I have a dog named Nibbs and four cats named Sugar, Bear, Sylo, and Charlie. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends or shopping when I am not working.

Melissa

My name is Melissa. I am passionate about the outdoors, nature, and animals, and love spending time outside and camping. I also love to encourage children to explore and play in nature. Watching children learn, develop confidence, and discover new skills is the best! I believe in learning through play, creativity, and hands-on activities. Always ready to help children feel comfortable and encouraged in all activities. I love to help children reach milestones and celebrate their accomplishments.

Simratpreet

Hi, my name is Simratpreet. I am an Early Childhood Educator who loves supporting children as they learn, grow, and reach their milestones in a safe, caring environment. I especially enjoy using art and creative projects to help children express themselves and build confidence. I always make sure the children feel at home, comfortable, and supported, so they can thrive. Watching their development under my care is the most rewarding part of my job.

Alanah

Hi, I’m Alanah! I’m an early childhood educator, a proud military wife, and a mom of two amazing boys. I enjoy hiking, camping, going to the beach, and I enjoy music. I’m passionate about teaching through music and hands-on learning, and I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel confident to learn, grow, and express themselves. I love incorporating nature into our days through nature walks, using natural materials to inspire creativity and art.

Amanda

My name is Amanda, and I'm a proud wife and mom of two amazing kids! You’ll usually find me off on adventures with my family or laughing with friends. I’m an ECE because I love the hugs, the growth, and watching children become their own little humans while learning something new every day. Fun fact: I love doing hair!
